Great part, communication lacking.

"The good: The ordering process was easy, the paint was great, and the part mounted well with good lines and fitment. It was well packaged and arrived damage free. The color match was great considering it was a 6-year-old vehicle with 100,000 miles and sun; wind and weather have shaded the color some. I am very happy with this purchase. BUT. The not so good. my part was due to arrive on the 17th. By the 18th I had received no notice of shipping. I called. The answer I received was "Troubles with the supplier, but I see your part has a shipping number, you should have it early next week. I wait until the following mid-week, no notification no communication. I call again. "Sorry, but it looks like your part mistakenly got shipped to the wrong customer. A new one is here and being painted right now, it should ship by Friday" Friday comes and still no shipping notice. Then unexpectedly, the part shows up. Saturday, I receive shipping information. Listen, you seem to have a great business, your parts are excellent. The paint was flawless; the shipping was damage free. Your communication is just horrible. I am a heavy equipment technician, communication with my customers is key (good or bad) I can accept the fact that problems happen, supply issues happen etc. But reach out to your customer and touch base with them."
