"Ordered LF/RF fenders for my Black 2017 Equinox. Paint is great, matches very well. Only issue was the drivers side fender, bottom was slightly bent which made it tough to get perfect body lines. Packaging is top tier but obviously something happened along the way."

Fitment issues

"Ordered 2 fenders. Both for the same vehicle. both the same color. 1 fender was listed as "Aftermarket""made in USA", and the other was shown as CAPA, which I know now means something to the effect of Canadian Auto Pars Aftermarket. Anyway, They sat in the warehouse painted for 3 days waiting to be shipped until I called them about shipping. They are in Michigan. I AM IN MICHIGAN!! When I said I would come down and pick them up, they were updated as to be shipped and on the truck and I got them the next day. now, 1st appearance was good. Well packaged, safety for the part in mind. Fenders wrapped well. Now, the fitment. Both fenders required modifications to the mounting locations and shims had to be added to make everything line up right. However, the left fender (THE USA one), was improperly made, and the hood hinge bracket that comes welded on to the fender for these 99-06 silverados was over 1/4" too tall and the hood alignment was horrible. Luckily, myself and my helper are fabricators of sorts and were able to modify it to accomodate "tolerable" hood gaps. It's not prefect, but it's even with itself front to back. After the shipping issue, I wasn't going to go through the hassle of trying to return it for another one and maybe still get it wrong, So, I made it work. Now on to the paint. Again, It's not perfect. Found areas that look like dirt or something that cured in the paint. And the paint is very thin, Don't rub an edge thats painted too hard because the paint may chip. But anyway, I have them, I am using them, and my truck does look better with non rusted fenders on it."
