Should have bought a complete tailgate
"You have to buy all sorts of garbage separately IN ADDITION to stripping salvageable hardware from a 2010 Tundra. This means a painstaking online puzzle to solve that is just not worth it. I wasted 1/2 a day on this and I'm not done yet as I have all sorts of stuff in the mail. The biggest pain is that the lower tailgate metal hinge bracket assembly and cup assembly is welded to the old tailgate and did not come off cleanly with an angle grinder. So now I have to order that assembly, separate bolts, separate hex bolts, separate plastic cup pieces. I don't care much about having to buy the additional plastic pieces and bed liner pieces that were old and snapped. But something as functional as the tailgate hinges should either be included or there should be a warning. Nothing pisses me off more than wasting another day or two on something like this. I THOUGHT I could re-use existing hardware and that's not the case."

This is where their superb customer service came in . Partify immediately issued a partial refund. I am happy."

"Paint match is perfect , the hardware and parts from the old tailgate fit and bolted on easily,seems to be as strong and same weight as the old tailgate. Looks great and latches as it should. I recommend partify to anyone that wants to save time and money and the hassle of painting. Also the tailgate was very well packaged and not damaged in any way during shipment."

"The tailgate shell and paint was of good quality. I was able to assemble it relatively easily and it looks good on my truck. Unfortunately, there was too small “dings” on the left side of the part that I didn’t notice until I installed it on the truck which was disappointing since it seemed to be of good quality."

- If you ordered a painted tailgate is the part primed or sealed also is it a base clear setup or is it single stage paint?

Paint is an additional fee, and these painted parts have two layers of primer, two layers of paint, and two layers of clear coat applied to them using industry leading paint, sourced from PPG.
